welcome
to the world of snowglobes.co.uk
we supply personalised snowglobes for any occasion.
snowglobes were first reported at the World Exhibition
of 1878, in Paris, where ‘paper weights of
hollow balls filled with water and a white powder
which, when the paper weight is turned upside down,
falls in imitation of a snow storm’ were exhibited.
In Victorian times snowglobes became popular when
early world travellers returned with snowglobe souvenirs
from the faraway places they had visited and proudly
displayed them on their mantelpieces to act as useful
conversation starters.
Today, many of us recall having a snowglobe as a
child, often as a gift from a travelled relative
or friend and now, snowglobes.co.uk offers you the
opportunity to commemorate any occasion with a personalised
snowglobe – your memento for future generations.
